Her research work focuses on the synthesis, characterization and investigation of semiconductors nanomaterials, especially nanofibers of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and their applications in photocatalysis, photocatalytic reactors for waste water treatment, solar cells, photovoltaics, sensors, batteries and protective surface coatings.                                                She has experience in synthesis methods (sol-gel and electrospinning process) and the morphological, structural and optical characterization of the electroceramics and metal-oxide materials (TiO2, ZnO).
